What we collect
Nothing that identifies you.
Solar Power Auditor is a static website. There is no login, no account, no comment system, no newsletter, no shopping basket and no form that submits data anywhere. We do not run Google Analytics or any other analytics product, and we set no cookies of any kind.
What our host sees
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request data — your IP address, the page requested, your browser's user-agent string and the time of the request — in order to deliver the page and to protect the service from abuse. We do not receive reports tying that data to individuals, and we do not combine it with anything else.
Cloudflare's own handling of that data is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The one third-party request
fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). That means your browser makes a request to Google when you load a page here, and Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of it. We do not send Google anything else, and there is no tracking identifier involved — but it is a third-party request and you are entitled to know about it.
If you would rather it did not happen, a content blocker will stop it; the site remains fully readable in fallback typefaces.We are looking at serving the fonts from our own domain to remove this request entirely. When that changes, this page changes.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share personal information. We do not hold any to sell.
- We do not run display advertising, retargeting pixels or conversion tracking.
- We do not operate an affiliate programme, so there are no affiliate tracking cookies. See how we are funded.
- We do not fingerprint your browser or store anything in local storage.
Links to other sites
Pages here link to manufacturer sites, to the laboratories whose measurements we cite, and to Amazon product listings. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else's site under someone else's privacy policy. Amazon in particular will set its own cookies; that is between you and Amazon, and we receive nothing from it.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about you, most data-protection rights have nothing to act on here. You are still entitled to ask, and we will answer honestly:
- to be told what personal data we hold about you — which is none;
- to have it corrected or deleted — there is nothing to correct or delete;
- to opt out of any sale of personal information — we do not sell any.

Children
This site is aimed at adults buying electrical equipment. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes — most likely because we self-host the fonts, or because we join an affiliate programme — the modified date at the top of this page changes with it, and material changes are described rather than silently applied.
