What a CPAP actually draws
The figure that matters is not the machine's peak rating but its average overnight draw, and it changes enormously with one setting.
The humidifier is a heating element. Turning it on roughly doubles consumption and can more than halve your nights per charge. Every figure below is given both ways for that reason.

1,710 measured usable watt-hours is six nights dry, or three with the humidifier.[4] If you live somewhere outages run for days, or the therapy is not optional, this is the capacity that turns a worry into a non-event.
Its 400 W solar ceiling and 70% cycle retention are weaknesses in general use, but for a unit that sits charged waiting for an emergency neither matters much.[5]

690 measured usable watt-hours covers two nights dry or one with the humidifier, for $359.[6][7] At 22.5 lb it travels reasonably.
It also has a measured 14 ms UPS transfer, so if you keep the machine plugged into it permanently the changeover on an outage should pass unnoticed.[6] For a unit that lives beside the bed, that is a genuinely useful property.
Practical points
Turn the humidifier off on battery. It is the single biggest lever you have — it doubles your nights at a stroke.
Use the DC output if your machine supports it. Many CPAPs accept 12 V directly. Skipping the inverter avoids the AC conversion loss entirely and can extend runtime by 10–15%. You will need the correct DC cable from your machine's manufacturer; do not improvise one.
Keep it charged. A power station sitting at 40% is not a backup. If it is there for medical use, top it up monthly.
Check your own machine's draw. The 35 W figure is typical, not universal. Your machine's label or manual gives its rating, and pressure settings move it.
Consider UPS mode. Several units here switch over in 10–20 ms. Leaving the machine permanently plugged into the power station, with the power station plugged into the wall, means an outage causes no interruption at all.

How many nights will a power station run a CPAP?
About three nights on a 1 kWh unit with the humidifier off, or a night and a half with it on. A 2 kWh unit roughly doubles that. Calculated from independently measured usable capacity at 35 W and 70 W.
How much power does a CPAP use?
Roughly 35 W with the humidifier off and about 70 W with it on, with heated tubing adding around 20 W more. Pressure settings and mask leak both move the figure, so check your own machine.
Does turning off the humidifier really matter?
It is the largest single factor. The humidifier is a heating element, and switching it off roughly halves consumption — turning a night and a half of runtime into three nights on the same battery.
Will the Anker SOLIX C300 run my CPAP overnight?
No. Its 230 measured usable watt-hours give about six and a half hours at 35 W, which is short of a full night, and roughly three hours with the humidifier on.[2]
Can I use a power station as a UPS for my CPAP?
Several units here specify switchover times of 10–20 ms, and the Bluetti AC70's was independently measured at 14 ms.[6] Keeping the machine plugged into the power station permanently means an outage should not interrupt therapy. Confirm compatibility with your equipment supplier.
Three nights is the right target
For CPAP use, buy capacity you will not need on a normal night. The Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2 gives three nights with the humidifier off for $499.99, which is the best balance of cost and margin here.
If outages where you live run for days, or the therapy is not optional, step up to the Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 and its six nights.
If you only need to cover a single night and want something small and cheap, the Bluetti AC70 does it for $359 and switches over fast enough to act as a UPS.
Do not buy the Anker SOLIX C300 for this. It will not last the night.
